HOW I CAME ACROSS THE BUSINESS: I used to work in healthcare market research. I had a career that I enjoyed but the role and commute was taking up most of my time. I had little time to spend with my daughter and for my passions. Suddenly in my forties after 20 years in the corporate world I was made redundant. It's the small things in life that give me the most pleasure. Most of all when I spend time with my daughter doing fun things.
I started setting up my business when I was on holiday. It truly is a portable business - you just need your laptop and mobile phone.
Carrie is now 11 years old and we love to travel. Our favourite place is currently Barbados and we've been 5 times to date.
I love to run and am a member of a running club. One of my goals was to run a marathon and now I've completed two. Maybe one day I will be tempted to run another one! Never say never!
